Meet the Scotts!
Originally from Illinois, we moved to the area 30 years ago. We have 3 adult, almost “grown up” kids who, like Doug and Libby, enjoy their time in Encinitas/Cardiff. Doug, a runner, hiker and outdoor enthusiast tries to find time for adventures while Libby is always looking for the 'perfect' photograph and a non-profit to adopt and get involved with. Check out the artwork in Cardiff Beach House North - most of it is Libby’s!
While we are traveling around the world or living in our second home in Northern Wisconsin in the summer or fall, we rent out Cardiff Beach House North property as a vacation rental. Cardiff Beach House South is only available as a long term rental of 31 days or longer. As the owners and part-time residents, we take great care in managing our properties and making sure they are a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable place to stay. We have a wonderful property manager who is available 24/7 for any problem that arises to ensure you are able to make the most out of your vacation.
